Western Career College Medical Assistant School in San Jose California CA

The Western Career College Medical Assisting program consists of four areas of training including clinical, administrative, laboratory, and externship. The curriculum is based on the guidelines prescribed by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

This program provides students with the valubal skills needed for the job emphasizing professionalism, critical thinking, client relations, adherence to ethical and legal requirements of medical practice, and proper communication skills.  WCC also prepares the student to sit for the national certification exam for medical assistants. Graduates will have also met the state requirements for injection administration and venipuncture.

Possible employment opportunities include: positions in physicians and other health care practitioners clinics, offices and other health care facilities. Western Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
